OK folks - this is important. My friend, Aimee, and her baby boy, Brayton, are in desperate need of help. I posted a while back about Brayton and his birth defect which has required him to be in NICU/ICU in a special research hospital many hours from home for most of his life. He'll be a year old next month. He had been sent home FINALLY but continued to experience dangerous complications and was readmitted to a hospital close to his home. Unfortunately, his complications are serious and he is being airlifted back to the research hospital (5 hours drive from home).
Aimee and her family has been devastated financially by the medical bills and the need for them to be with the baby so far from home. They actually can't afford to get themselves to the hospital to be with him right now and this is just awful. Aimee needs to be with Brayton so she needs our help. She did not ask us to put out a call for help - we're doing this because we love her and know as moms ourselves that she NEEDS to be there.
