Happy 1st Birthday, Cooper! We love you so very much!
On this day, June 21, 2008, at 5:52am, Cooper Mitchell Olsen blessed our lives with his early birth. It was a difficult, complicated and stressful pregnancy that included a rescue surgery at 16 weeks, and 19 weeks of strict bed rest, millions of prayers, the talented and compassionate care of two amazing doctors...and by the grace of God he arrived safely at 35 weeks and spent no time in the NICU. Every nanosecond of time spent in bed and every sacrifice made was worth it. He's the pride and joy of our lives. Today, we celebrate his entrance into our lives, on his late grandfather's birthday, on the Summer Solstice, which also happens to be Father's Day this year. We love you, Cooper!

Happy First Birthday, Cooper, from the Eschweilers!!!! What a wonderful one year accomplishment to sleep in your crib for so long last night, too! It is amazing how fast our little ones grow up! It seems like just yesterday your Mommy and I were messaging each other about bed rest, early births, and acid reflux! Enjoy your day, Cooper! :)

Happy Birthday Cooper! I never did get a gift in the mail! :( I didn't get a father's day card out to my dad! I hope you have a wonderful day! BTW- Elijah Birthday is on his grandfathers birthday also!! How cool is that!

Happy Birthday Cooper! Look at all you've made it through in just a year. You are one busy little boy. Here's to the next year!!! (one full of good sleep in your crib, no more icky acid refulx, better immune system so you can have lots of fun at daycare, and I'm sure lots of running around, climbing, and getting into things!)
