God blessed us with a baby boy who almost didn't make it out of the womb. We fought and prayed and on June 21, 2008, he arrived and changed our lives forever - in the most blessed and amazing way. This blog chronicles our journey of near-tragedy, extended bed rest (19 weeks), and the joys and tears along the way and ever since. Baby Olsen is a baby no more. He's our wonderfully loving, and bright little man, Cooper Mitchell Olsen.

Bob's heading home now
Just got the call from Bob - he and my dad are heading back now from the ER. They drained a lot of blood from Bob's knee, took x-rays and found just the arthritis. Gave him an injection for pain and spoke to his surgeon, Dr.B, who wants him to go in and see him tomorrow to review the x-ray and see what the next steps should be. They wrapped the knee and put an immobilizer on him and sent him home. So I guess we won't know what's going on really until he sees Dr.B tomorrow. The good news is there was no break/fracture or tendon ruptures showing in the x-rays today. Thank goodness! We'll post more tomorrow when there's more news to share. Thanks again for your prayers and positive thoughts!

Glad there were no breaks/fractures/ruptures :) Sorry that he's going through this though. Let us know how the appointment goes tomorrow! Tell him that trying to be like "Gracie" (you know, "Say Goodnight Gracie") really isn't him ;)
Your Dad came just in time! Thank goodness!
