Grilling and MRIs

Now that Dad is here Bob has the excuse he needed to start putting his new grill to work - my dad is creative with food and loves to cook and eat outdoors. Nothing fancy to start out with but Bob and I had some hot dogs for dinner and Dad had some chicken. Later in the week we'll graduate to steaks and grilled veggies.

Hunter is having a blast with my dad - he took her for a nice walk today and she follows him everywhere he goes (probably something to do with his bad habit of sharing everything he eats with her - ugh).

Bob saw his orthopedic surgeon today and he's not sure what's causing the pain/swelling/fluid on the knee so doc sent him for an MRI. Bob's scheduled to meet with the doc again on Wednesday and that's when he'll get the results of today's scan. Thankfully, Bob's knee felt a bit better today and he was able to trade the crutches for a cane (good sign!). We're hopeful (and praying) that this is just a fluke flare-up of arthritis and that he can hold off on any new surgeries until next year at least.

My two have a Grandma who's just like your dad... she feeds them with her fork when she's done eating - from the table and it's one of the FEW things that drives me NUTS about my MIL! Goodluck when your dad goes home ;). You'll have 2 babies trying to adjust.

Glad Bob is feeling better. P&PT's for a clear MRI!!! :)
