Cooper is due today!

Today was Cooper's due date to join us. As we all know, he had other plans and has been busy changing our lives (for the better, of course - besides, who needs sleep anyway?!) for over a month already :)

At the moment, Cooper is laying in his portable bed in the family room, listening to the sounds of a Fisher Price rain forest soothing crib toy which lights up and has little rain forest creatures that move around for visual stimulation. He is awake, just laying there watching the little animals and water bubbles move around, occasionally grunting and throwing his arms in the air. Although we have the a/c on (temp set at 76), Cooper is either feeling warm or just wants his naked legs free from the blanket I wrapped him in because he keeps wiggling free from the blanket wrap. I think it's cold in here, but Bob says I'm the only one that feels that way so although it's over 90 degrees outside, I'm inside with pants and a sweatshirt on. Hopefully Cooper's body temp is aligned with Bob's so he's comfortable with the temp of the house - because if he's aligned with my body temp then he must always be cold in here. He's not shivering or complaining and his legs don't feel overly warm or cool so he must be content. Hopefully.

In my experience, ALL boys (even the very young ones) run hot. Raymond is always warm and has always been like this. If Cooper were uncomfortable, he would let you know so don't worry about it! :)
